Backlinks Overview
The Backlinks Overview feature shows you all backlinks pointing to a specific URL or domain, providing key details like domain authority, referring links, and the total number of backlinks. This is a great way to quickly assess the backlinks to a site and evaluate its SEO strength.
You can export this data into a CSV file or a PDF report, which includes charts summarizing the backlink data.

Backlink Opportunities
Backlink Opportunities shows you domains that link to your competitors but not to your website. By analyzing the backlink profiles of your competitors, you can uncover patterns, such as frequently linking domains or content types that attract the most links.
This feature helps you identify potential opportunities for building backlinks for your site.
To make the most of this feature, focus on creating high-quality, engaging content that others will want to link to. You can also engage in strategies like guest blogging or reaching out to influencers and websites that have linked to similar content.
You can export the backlink data from Backlink Opportunities into a CSV file, which can be categorized into Referring Domains and Backlinks.

What Is the Export Limit in the Backlinks Section?
Export Limits for Backlinks Overview
In Backlinks Overview, there are limits on the number of backlinks information you can export. These limits vary depending on your subscription plan:
- Free: 100 rows
- Individual: 2,000 rows
- Business: 5,000 rows
- Enterprise: 5,000 rows
Export Limits for Backlink Opportunities
For Backlink Opportunities, the export limits are as follows:
- Free: 10 rows
- Individual: 500 rows
- Business: 500 rows
- Enterprise: 500 rows
These limits apply whether you are exporting Referring Domains or Backlinks. In total, you can export up to 500 rows of results per export.
Why Does the CSV File Show Fewer Results Than the Report?
You may notice that the CSV file shows fewer results than what you see in the report. This can happen for a couple of reasons:
1. Link Selection: If the “ONE LINK PER DOMAIN” option is turned off, the CSV export will include all backlinks from each domain. If it’s turned on, it will only include one link per domain, which results in fewer links.
2. Number of Available Results: To make sure you’re exporting all the available data, you need to go through all the result pages. You can either scroll through each page manually or use the upward arrow to load more results. Once you’ve reached the last page, adjust the number of links per report and export to CSV.
Tips for Using Backlink Opportunities
The Backlink Opportunities feature identifies domains and URLs that link to competitors but not your site. This is a great way to discover potential sources for backlinks. To take advantage of this, focus on creating high-quality, link-worthy content. Additionally, consider reaching out to industry influencers, engaging in guest blogging, or contacting websites that have linked to similar content.
You can export this data into the Referring Domains and Backlinks categories. Just remember to go through all the result pages to capture all the available backlinks or referring domains.
