How to Create Keyword Lists With Ubersuggest

Keyword research aims to uncover what your target audience is searching for and how to rank those keywords. Without identifying the right keywords, it becomes challenging to optimize your website, build relevant links, or create content that resonates with your audience.

That said, creating keyword lists with Ubersuggest helps organize keywords by topic, making it easier to use them for content creation and page optimization.

You can find the Keyword Lists feature on the left-bar menu under the Keyword Research section.

What are the Keyword List Limits for Each Subscription Plan?

The Keyword Lists limits are indicated in the following table:

Free Users	Free users can create up to three keyword lists
Paid Users	Pro users enjoy the benefit of unlimited lists and the ability to track 1,000 keywords per list.

How to Create the First Keyword Lists?

To create the list, click on the Keyword List option and then “Create Your First List”.

Assign a name to the keyword list that reflects its purpose. For instance, if it is compiling a list of competitors' keywords, it can be named "Marketing". After naming the list, click "Create List."

Next, add the desired keywords to your list, select the relevant location, and click "Add Keywords."

The system will redirect to the "Keyword Lists" dashboard, which will appear as follows.

How to Add Keywords to an Existing List?

To add keywords to the list during keyword research, select the desired keywords and click "Add to List."

A new tab will open, allowing the users to select the Keyword List to which it is needed to add the keywords. Once selected, click "Add Keywords.

How to Make Changes in the Lists?

To modify a list—such as renaming it, deleting it, or adding new keywords—navigate to the Keyword List Dashboard. On the right side of each list, click the three-dot menu. Select the desired option and make the necessary changes.

How to Export the Lists?

The keyword list can be easily exported in CSV format by choosing to export the entire list or selecting specific keywords for export.

What Information will be Displayed?

A comprehensive breakdown will display the total monthly search volume for all keywords combined on the list, as well as the average CPC, average paid difficulty, and average SEO difficulty.
