Integrating Ubersuggest with Google Analytics can simplify digital marketing by providing deeper insights and more effective strategies. However, integration issues may arise, particularly after recent updates or due to configuration mismatches.
This guide is designed to help users troubleshoot common integration problems, ensuring a seamless connection between Ubersuggest and Google Analytics.
Understanding the Connection Between Tools
The integration process typically involves linking both tools through the Dashboard by using the email address associated with the Google Analytics account. This connection enables data sharing and functionality enhancement across both platforms.

What Are the Main Reasons for Connection Issues?
We’ve identified several issues when trying to connect Google Analytics with Ubersuggest projects. It's crucial to make sure everything is set up correctly to ensure a successful connection.
Consistency Between Property URL and Project URL
Duplicated Google Analytics Properties
Consistency Between Property URL and Project URL
URL consistency is crucial for integration. The property type from Google Analytics needs to be the same URL as registered or used in the project. Mismatches in URLs can lead to data retrieval errors, inaccurate analytics, and overall integration failure.
How to Ensure URL Consistency?
1. Verify the Property URL: In Google Analytics, check the property's URL to ensure it matches exactly with the one used in the Ubersuggest project.
Note that it is not possible to edit the URL in Ubersuggest's project settings Domain field.
2. Update if Necessary: If there are discrepancies, update the URL in Google Analytics to match Ubersuggest. This may involve modifying the property settings within Google Analytics.
Duplicated Google Analytics Properties
Ubersuggest cannot connect a project with duplicated Google Analytics properties. Attempting to create a duplicate property with the same URL for integration purposes will result in errors and could potentially disrupt the website data tracking and analysis.
Identifying Duplication
Check Existing Properties in Google Analytics: Before creating a new property in Google Analytics for integration, ensure there isn't already a property with the same URL.
Reuse Existing Properties: If a property with the desired URL already exists, use this property for integration rather than creating a new one.
