Rank Tracking in Ubersuggest allows you to monitor how your keywords perform over time. By tracking trends, you can quickly see which keywords are improving and which are losing visibility.
This guide will show you how to set up Rank Tracking and read the performance graph, so you can make data-driven decisions and get the most value from this feature.
Setting Up Your Project
To track keywords, start by creating a project in Ubersuggest. This unlocks the full set of tools for analyzing keyword performance and monitoring results.
Weekly Updates for Paid Users
As a paid user, you can choose to receive weekly email notifications. These updates track keyword performance, showing which keywords are improving and which are declining, so you can stay on top of your SEO strategy.
Navigating the Keyword Rankings Report
The Keyword Rankings report in your Dashboard shows where your keywords currently rank and how their positions change over time. To access it, open the Rank Tracking section in your Dashboard.
Understanding Ranking Arrows and Trends
The report uses arrows to show keyword trends:
Green Up Arrow → Indicates an improvement in ranking.
Red Down Arrow → Indicates a drop in ranking.
For more details, click the “See Trend” box next to any keyword to view its performance over time.
Important Considerations
Adding a keyword to your tracking list doesn’t guarantee immediate results. For a keyword to appear in the report, it must already exist in your site’s content and be indexed by Google.
If you see “–” in the Change column, the keyword ranks outside the top 100 on Google.
If you see “Not Ranked” in the Position column, the keyword also ranks lower than 100 and does not currently have measurable visibility.
Rankings are updated once per week (daily updates are no longer available), so newly added keywords will appear after the next update.
