Get to Know Your Project Dashboard
The Dashboard is your main workspace for tracking and managing your website’s SEO data in Ubersuggest.
After logging in, you’ll see a summary of your project. Each project represents a website you’ve added to monitor its SEO performance and key insights.
Your Dashboard includes the following main sections:
- Dashboard: Get an overview of your site’s overall performance.
- AI Search Visibility: Get an overview of your site performance in the AI responses.
- Site Audit: Find the SEO issues on your website.
- SEO Opportunities: Discover actionable insights to improve visibility.
- Rank Tracking: Track how your keywords rank over time.

Dashboard Overview: Track Key SEO Metrics
The Dashboard provides a quick, organized view of your website’s SEO performance. It highlights the key metrics you need to monitor and improve your site’s visibility and growth.
Here’s what you can track:

Organic Traffic: This metric shows you how many visitors are coming to your website from Google’s organic (unpaid) search results.

If you don’t connect these tools, Ubersuggest automatically starts tracking your organic traffic once your project is created. -
Keyword Rankings: View how your tracked keywords rank on Google within the selected time frame. This helps you monitor performance trends and identify opportunities to improve visibility.

Estimated Traffic Value: This metric estimates the value of your website’s organic traffic by showing how much it would cost to acquire the same traffic using paid Google Ads.

After running a site crawl, Ubersuggest will identify the SEO issues found in the pages crawled and show you what the issue is about, tips on how to fix them, a list of pages facing each issue, and a site speed report as well.
SEO Opportunities: Find Actionable Ways to Improve Your Rankings
The SEO Opportunities section highlights the best ways to improve your website’s performance and search rankings.
You’ll see three types of recommendations:

SEO Issues: These are technical SEO problems that need attention. Ubersuggest links you to the Site Audit report, offering a detailed analysis of your website’s performance, structure, and overall SEO health.
- New Content: Discover new content ideas based on keyword opportunities to increase your site’s visibility. Click START to open the AI Writer and begin creating content right away.
- Optimize Content: Find existing pages that can be improved for better rankings. Ubersuggest takes you directly to the AI Writer, where you can refine your content to make it more relevant and SEO-friendly.
You can also rate each suggestion using the thumbs-up or thumbs-down icons.
Your feedback helps Ubersuggest deliver more accurate and relevant recommendations tailored to your needs.
Rank Tracking
The Rank Tracking section helps you track how your website’s keywords perform over time across both desktop and mobile searches.
Here’s what you can monitor:

Position Changes: Monitor whether your keyword rankings are improving or declining.
- Keywords in the Top 3, Top 10, and Top 100: The pie chart shows you how many of your keywords are ranking in the top 3, top 10, or top 100 positions in Google.

Not Ranking: Check the number of keywords that are not ranking within the top 100 positions.
For more detailed insights, open your Rank Tracking Report to explore all your tracked keywords and their current positions in detail.
Competitor Analysis: Compare and Improve Against Your Rivals
The Competitor Analysis section helps you compare your website’s performance with others in your industry. It provides key insights into your competitors’ SEO strategies so you can identify opportunities to strengthen your own.
Here’s what you can explore:
- Traffic Overview: Compare your organic traffic with competitors to see who’s attracting more visitors from search.
- Common Keywords: View the keywords you and your competitors both rank for. This helps you understand where you’re already competing directly in search results.
- Keyword Gaps: Discover the keywords your competitors rank for that your site doesn’t. Use these insights to find new content and optimization opportunities.
- Backlinks: See how many incoming hyperlinks your tracked competitors have from other websites, helping you gauge their authority and visibility.
Use this report to compare your performance, uncover growth opportunities, and refine your SEO strategy to stay ahead in search results.
Update Project Settings: Manage How Data Is Tracked
To update your project settings, including the title, mobile rank tracking, and notifications, go to the Dashboard, select your project, and click Edit Project.
You can adjust the following settings:
- Project Name: Change how your project appears on the Dashboard.
- Rank Tracking Frequency: Only weekly updates are available.
- Mobile Rank Tracking: Enable or disable tracking for keyword rankings on mobile devices.
- Notifications: Enable or disable email updates about your project’s performance.
Important: Once a project is created, its URL cannot be changed.
To update your website’s URL, delete the current project and create a new one using the correct address.
Tracking Specific Pages: Monitor URL-Level SEO Performance
At the moment, you can’t track a specific page URL directly in the Dashboard. However, you can still monitor a page’s performance by tracking the keywords that lead to it.
For example, to monitor neilpatel.com/training, select the keywords relevant to that page and monitor their rankings over time.
- Site Audit: Review technical and on-page SEO performance.
- Keywords by Traffic: See which keywords drive visitors to the page.
- Traffic Overview: Analyze traffic trends and top-performing pages.
- Backlinks Overview: Check the backlinks pointing to the specific URL.
