The Project Dashboard monitors Google rankings for users' websites across various global locations. It also provides insights into competitors' top keywords, pages, and backlinks. In this article, we will detail the information displayed on the Dashboard and explain how to access all relevant project data.
Project Dashboard Overview
The Dashboard assesses the site’s SEO health and its backlinks. It connects directly to Google Search Console and Google Analytics to provide users with real-time data on the search traffic.
It's the first screen shown after logging into the Ubersuggest account.
Check out this article to set up a first project and add keywords to track.
If users manage multiple projects, they can switch between them using the drop-down menu.
Once the desired project is selected, users will see a summary of the project's information including the following:
- Top SEO Opportunities
- Estimated Organic Traffic
- Keyword Rankings
- Estimated Traffic Value
- Backlinks
- On-Page SEO Score
- Competitors Tracking
Project reports can be exported in PDF format; however, this option is exclusively available to paid subscribers.
SEO Opportunities
Ubersuggest presents SEO Opportunities related to each project, leveraging insights from the website's domain score, content quality, and SEO Issues. These opportunities are prioritized based on their potential impact on SEO and the level of implementation complexity.
The SEO Opportunities suggestions will lead users to different sections in Ubersuggest depending on if the suggestion is about fixing SEO Issues or improving or adding new content.
When the opportunity is about SEO issues, the report leads to the Site Audit report which will show a comprehensive analysis of the website's performance, structure, and overall health in terms of SEO. It involves examining various aspects of the website to identify areas for improvement and opportunities to enhance its visibility and ranking in search engine results pages (SERPs).
If the opportunity is about content users will be redirected to the AI Writer feature.
To see more opportunities users can click on that option below the report and will be redirected to the SEO Opportunities feature. It is possible to provide feedback on these SEO improvement suggestions by indicating the preference with a thumbs-up or thumbs-down. Click on the thumbs-up button if the suggestions were helpful or the thumbs-down button if they were not, this action informs Ubersuggest to refine its recommendations, ensuring users receive more relevant and effective suggestions in the future.
To get help with making changes on the project's website, click “Start” and follow the instructions.
After implementing a change on the website based on the SEO Opportunities suggestions, users can notify Ubersuggest by clicking "Mark as done." This action will promptly remove the corresponding card from the list, ensuring users stay organized and up to date with the optimization tasks.
Organic Traffic
In this section, users can connect their project to Google Analytics to have real-time organic traffic data shown in a graph.
The graph will show the traffic for the last 30 days.
It is important to mention that the graph will be visible only for projects connected to a Google Analytics property.
Keywords Ranking
Rank Tracking is a feature that provides users with the website's keyword performance in the organic mobile and desktop Google searches over time.
The keywords ranking graph on the Dashboard will show a pie chart showing the summary of how the tracked keywords are ranking in Google in position ranges:
Top 3 – Number of keywords ranking in the first 3 organic positions
Top 10 – Number of keywords ranking in the first 10 positions
Top page – Number of keywords ranking in the first 100 positions
Not Ranking – Number of keywords not ranking in the first 100 Google search positions.
At the bottom of the graph the option to view rank tracking full report will redirect users to the Rank Tracking feature.
Ubersuggest enables the export of charts from Rank Tracking, a feature available exclusively to paid users.
Estimated Traffic Value
This graph indicates the estimated value of the site's organic traffic at a given moment in time based on the cost of getting the same traffic through Google Ads.
This data is indicated for the last 30 days.
Backlinks
The backlinks graph shows the number of incoming links to the website from other sites on the web in the last 30 days. At the bottom of the graph, a button to access the full backlink report will be found and by clicking on it Ubersuggest will lead users to the Backlink Overview feature.
Backlinks reports can be also exported as an image. The free account users should upgrade to have access to the exporting.
On-Page SEO Score
It shows an overall SEO score based on an analysis of all pages on the project's website. By clicking on the ¨Improve SEO score¨ button users will be led to the Site Audit report where the SEO issues affecting the SEO score will be listed.
On-Page SEO Report can be also exported as a chart for the paid users.
Competitors Tracking
When clicking on My Competitors, it will redirect to the Competitor Tracking Report where users can monitor their competitors within Ubersuggest, analyze their keywords, pages, and backlink sources to identify potential opportunities and stay ahead in the niche.
Changing Project Settings
To modify the project's settings, navigate to the dashboard, select the desired project, and then click on "Edit Project." This action will allow users to adjust various settings including project name, rank tracking frequency, mobile rank tracking, and notifications, to tailor the platform to the users' specific needs.
Within the Project Settings pop-up, users have the flexibility to modify the following aspects:
Project Name: Alter the title of the project as it appears on the dashboard.
Rank Tracking Frequency: Adjust the frequency of project updates, choosing between daily or weekly updates.
Mobile Rank Tracking: Enable tracking for mobile rankings to monitor performance across different devices.
Notifications: Opt-in or opt-out of receiving project-related notifications via email, tailoring the communication preferences to suit users' needs.
IMPORTANT – Please note that once a project has been created, its URL cannot be changed. If a user requires a change to the website address, it is necessary to first remove the existing project and then add it again with the updated address.
Tracking a Page URL
Currently, adding a web page URL directly to the Dashboard is not possible. However, users can effectively monitor specific sections of their project by segmenting it based on keywords instead of URLs.
For example, if a user wants to track the page neilpatel.com/training, they should select the specific target keywords for this page and will be able to collect ranking data related to that page.
