This article explains how to use the Keywords By Traffic tool, which gives you valuable SEO insights—showing which keywords drive traffic to any website, along with key metrics to help refine your strategy, all by simply entering a URL.
Here’s how to get started:
1. Enter the website or page URL into the Keywords by Traffic section, then choose your preferred language and location to tailor the results.
2. You’ll see the top-performing keywords for the site, including details like:
Search Volume – how often the keyword is searched.
Google Search Position – where the URL ranks in Google search results.
Estimated Visits – how much traffic the keyword drives to the site.
SEO Difficulty (SD) – how competitive it is to rank for the keyword.
Note: If a page has very low traffic, keyword data may not be available.
3. To refine your results, you can use Keyword Filters to narrow down the list based on:
Search Volume Range – focus on keywords searched more or less frequently.
SEO Difficulty (SD) Range – filter by how competitive the keywords are.
Specific Keywords – include or exclude certain terms from your results.
You can also sort the results by:
Alphabetical Order
Search Volume – from highest to lowest or vice versa
Position – based on where the URL ranks in search results
SEO Difficulty (SD) – from easiest to most difficult
Simply click the up or down arrows next to each column header to apply the sort.
By checking your domain with Keywords by Traffic, you can understand which pages are bringing the most traffic, but you can also get insights into which content might need to be revised.
