What is the Refresh SEO Difficulty Feature
Ubersuggest has upgraded the SEO. Difficulty (SD) score algorithm, providing more accurate and reliable metrics. The new refresh feature allows users to update the SEO Difficulty (SD) score for each keyword with just a click of a button.
Additionally, a new Updated Column has been added, which shows the date when the SEO Difficulty score was last updated, providing users with complete transparency.
Where Can Users Use the Refresh SEO Feature?
The Refresh SEO feature is available in areas related to keyword research and rank tracking. Users can refresh the SD score of any keyword in the following sections:
Rank Tracking feature:
Keyword Ideas feature:
This feature refreshes the keyword report by retrieving fresh data, and dynamically recalculating the updated SD score in real time.
How to Update the SEO Difficulty Score?
To update the SD score for a single keyword, simply click the revolving arrows next to the keyword.
For bulk updates, users can select multiple keywords and use the "UPDATE METRICS" button at the top of the report. Note that updating multiple keywords at once may take longer, depending on the number of keywords selected.
Is There a Refresh Limit?
The refresh option is limited based on the user's subscription plan. Paid users are granted a set number of credits for refreshing keywords, while free and unregistered users face more restrictive limits. Here is the refresh limits based on subscription type:
- Unlogged Users: 0 credits
- Free Users: 10 credits
- Basic Lifetime Users: 50 credits
- Restart Users: 50 credits
- Individual Users (Monthly & Lifetime): 200 credits
- Business Users (Monthly & Lifetime): 500 credits
- Enterprise Users (Monthly & Lifetime): 700 credits
A usage counter appears next to the Update Metrics button, indicating how many credits have been used out of the total available. For example, "6/200" means 6 credits have been used, leaving 194 credits available.
Important Note: One credit equals one keyword refreshed. For example, refreshing 100 keywords at once will consume 100 credits. Refreshing the same keyword multiple times counts as multiple updates.
What Happens When SD Metrics Are Updated?
When a keyword's SEO Difficulty score is refreshed, the updated data is reflected across all Ubersuggest features. For instance, if the SD score is refreshed in the Rank Tracking section, the status will show “NOW” to indicate the update. The same updated SD value will then appear across all other relevant keyword reports, such as in Keyword Ideas.
